Living the Boone Art Life

I have been collaborating with Anthony E Boone for a decade since we first met at the Eclectic Taste print shop and boutique in Jersey City. I've helped him design and shoot ideas about his apparel line, helping him at pop ups, and handling art work.

I designed and printed these window graphics for Boone's exhibition at the PATH Commuter Gallery.

I directed and set up the photo shoot depicted on the graphics.

UArts School Store Submission

Before UArts abruptly closed, I submitted proposal to design and supply the apparel for the UArts community. I felt the school store items didn't really reflect the vibrant artists that have passed through its halls, so I wanted to add a splash of color.

When they were supposed to announce those selected, Kerry Walk and the Board of trustees decided to disappoint American artists all over the world by announcing the imminent closure of the university. Philadelphia will never be the same.

The Night is Dark...

Wildling Wildin Out

50 pieces of art delve into the beautifully tragic world of Game of Thrones  in a show entitled

The Night is Dark and Full of Terrors

The name conjures up the image of red and orange leaves blowing in the wind across green hills, while a fire cleanses some unbelievers in the cool evening.

I depicted the most liberated of women from beyond the Wall, Ygritte. There are so many tough ladies in Game of Thrones, they are as beautiful as they are bad ass.

Opening Reception
Friday, November 6, 5pm – 9pm
Milk and Honey Cafe, 518 S 4th Street
Philadelphia

Major Laser

In NYC going batty over the deck
My pal Tim Peet is a crafty individual, and introduced me to the process of laser cutting. The first thing on my mind was a skateboard. I drew up the bats while watching Batman 1989. Astounding how that movie is 26 years old! For all it's flaws, still my favorite bit of cinema.
This one is for the WHALE!

Our collective minds have been playing around with depth and strength of the cut, trying to figure out that nice and juicy sweet spot.

If you're interested in a skateboard, you can email me rackthecrown@gmail.com for requests.
